Best Electronics Custom Made Universal Multi Sync Monitor cable for Color or Monochrome displays on the same Multi Sync Monitor using this Multi function Custom cable. For use with 520ST, 520STFM, 1040ST, 1040STE, Mega, MegaSTE Atari ST Computers also Falcon Computers with the 19 Pin to 13 Pin Atari video adapter to Multi-Sync Monitors. Best ST Monitor Information Tip: Monitor (tube and flat panel) manufactures frequently change the internal video chip sets used on Monitor motherboards during the total production run of that monitor (early, mid, end of) (like early video chip sets, left over from an older model monitor production run used on the new monitor production run until they run out of them, that would sync down to the ST required Video spec's, but the published video specifications for that monitor due not reflect lower video spec's) without telling anyone or changing that Monitor Model number / specifications or part number on that monitor. So it is possible to find a ST Compatiable monitor on these lists and know 10+ other Atari ST Owners who have used the exact same monitor (early production run) model number on their ST computer with no ST compatibility video issues at all. Best has recently removed a few Flat panel ST Compatible monitors, because the monitor manufacture changed monitor motherboard chip sets, sometime during the production run of that model monitor, so all of that model monitor may or may not work with an Atari ST computer. In most cases the only sure bet is to get the Best 2nd Gen. Multi Sync adapter cable and try it on your Display / Monitor. If you can not get ST low and Medium Color modes, then you will have to get the Ambery sync. box.
